Mr. Pivor was born in New York City and raised in Weston, Connecticut. He attended American University in Washington, D.C., earning a B.A. in both Law & Society and Public Communications in 2001. His law career began in college, both in academic studies and an internship at Camberwell Green Magistrate's Court in London, United Kingdom. During law school, he worked for two years as a student prosecutor for the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. In 2004, he received his J.D. from Washington College of Law at American University. Mr. Pivor initially worked for a firm that specialized in veteran's affairs litigation, and then worked for two years as a plaintiff's civil litigator. Mr. Pivor began working for Thompson O'Donnell, LLP in March 2008. Since joining the firm, Mr. Pivor has been involved in a variety of litigation matters in the local state and federal courts.
