Mr. O'Donnell is now retired, but remains in the driving spirit behind the firm. He is a native Washingtonian. He began his legal career in 1953 as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia. He joined Thompson O'Donnell, LLP in 1961. His private practice has been as a generalist with a
specialty in litigation, both civil and criminal. He has represented individuals in Watergate and the HUD prosecutions and corporations in asbestos and DES civil lawsuits. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
